Account Manager

Edge IT is a business computer services company based in Letchworth, Hertfordshire founded in 2012. The main focus of Edge IT is to provide IT support in Hertfordshire, Essex, London and the surrounding areas. You will be part of a committed IT Services company providing high quality IT services. The aim is to provide the level of support a business would expect to receive from an internal IT team.

Experience:

You will be an Account Manager working closely with our Sales Director. We are looking for individuals with a passion for technology and strong customer-service skills to join our rapidly growing team in Letchworth, Hertfordshire.

The role will consist of:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • New business roles selling the latest Managed Services, Professional Services and cloud solutions
  • Meet with potential clients on a regular basis

The person suitable of a Business Development Manager:

  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, IT Account Manager, Customer facing 3rd line or Junior Account Manager or similar role (3+ years) or relevant role
  • Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. AutoTask, Connectwise, or other) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical end users in simple terms
  • Great Time management essential
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Full, clean UK Driving License
